Corrections
This site covers hardware that changes and wiring we cannot see. Some of it will be wrong eventually, and some of it may be wrong now.
Tell us when we are wrong
Email us and we will look. If a page is wrong we fix it and date the change. If it is a judgement call rather than an error, we will say so plainly rather than quietly rewording it.
What gets corrected
A factual error about how a product or a circuit behaves. A recommendation invalidated by a product change. A legal or lease claim stated more confidently than its source supports. A dead, wrong or hijacked outbound link.
What does not get quietly changed
Substantive corrections are dated, not silently edited. A page that quietly changes its mind is harder to trust than one that shows its working.
Manufacturers and retailers
If you represent a product mentioned here and something is inaccurate, tell us and we will correct it on the facts.
We do not remove honest criticism, and a correction is never traded for a commercial arrangement.
